Red Cross guided walk (English version)

Discover where the history of the City of Ghent and the Red Cross intersect. Experience Ghent through the eyes of a Red Cross volunteer.
The Red Cross Walk is a unique, free guided tour during the Ghent Festivities. Accompanied by a local volunteer, you will explore the “Kuip van Gent” and discover surprising places where the history of the city and that of the Red Cross cross paths.
During the Ghent Festivities, the walk starts at the Belfry First Aid Post, one of the three Red Cross posts where festivalgoers can seek assistance. The walk is accessible to everyone and takes you from the Post Building on Korenmarkt to Volderstraat and Hotel Gambrinus on Vlaanderenstraat. We finish at Gent Zuid.
